This week we have fantasy films from over the Atlantic. It's foreign! That means sophistication and class! First on the list is "The Magic Sword" (1962) The son of a sorceress, armed with weapons, armor and six magically-summoned knights, goes on a quest to save a princess from a vengeful wizard. They clam this is a US film on IMDB, I am not convinced. I know bad dubbing when I see it. After that we have Jack Frost (1965) A fairy tale about a conceited young man and a young woman with a tyrannical step-mother, who must overcome magical trials in order to be together. No attempt to hide this one, this is a crown jewel of Soviet Union Cinema Come down this Wednesday, it will be quite interesting. www.livestream.com/sahonistheaterFollow my twitter at Sahoni_Stuff
