I figure as an inexperienced reviewer (my only prior experience is an angry rant I performed after watching the Percy Jackson movie) that I should have some sort of format for my reviews, something flexible yet structural so that I don't go off on tangents as I am wont to do. Thus I present to you my format, and I would love some constructive criticism before I pen my first review!
Webcomic overview: Who writes/draws it, its format (stories or gags), possibly who recommended it to me, how much I have read (I will try to read all of it, but I may not have time). Art: Style, whether I like it, what feel it gives to the comic, stars out of 5 Characters (if applicable): Likability, depth, etc, stars out of 5. Plot (if applicable): Complexity, ease for new readers to get into, average arc length, etc, stars out of 5 Writing overall: Is it funny/dramatic/sad/enjoyable? Grammar? Any overarching themes? Overall score: stars out of 5.
That is what I have so far, and I will probably expand it later once I actually write a review, so I would love suggestions/criticisms/quippy retorts from more experienced reviewers. Please and thank you!
