There is a lot of issues you can face when running a game online. One of the biggest is character sheets. Not everyone has a scanner and most of the digital sheets are ugly spreadsheets that don't transfer well from program to program. Luckily I found a FREE program that can work for any 3.5 game after being balls deep in google.
For our sheets we use Dungeons and Dragons v3.5 Digital Character Sheet v3.2 found here: frozen-solid.net/misc/apps.shtml The dice roller it comes with is decent enough. Certainly not the worse one I've seen (looking at you official d&d roller) And it comes with a button for just about every roll you'd need to make and a roll log for picky DM's.
